Guardian's Maximum Rollover program encourages regular dental visits by rolling unused annual maximum dollars into a Maximum Rollover Account (MRA). Keep up with your dental care and your benefits grow with you.
If your total claims for the benefit year are less than the threshold, the rollover amount is added to your MRA. Your MRA dollars can be used once you exceed your annual maximum in a future year. Using in-network providers earns a higher rollover amount. You must visit the dentist at least once during the benefit year to qualify for a rollover.
Schedule your preventive visits every year. You'll keep your teeth healthy and build up rollover dollars for when you need more extensive work.
Annual Maximum: The most your dental plan will pay for covered services in a plan year. You're responsible for any costs above this amount.
Preventive Services: Routine care like cleanings, exams, and X-rays. Most plans cover these at 100% with no waiting period.
Basic Services: Procedures like fillings, extractions, and root canals. Typically covered at 80% after you meet your deductible.
Major Services: Procedures like crowns, bridges, and dentures. Usually covered at 50% and may have a waiting period.
Orthodontia: Braces and teeth alignment services. Coverage varies by plan and may only be available for dependent children.
